Daily Field Adjuster

Allied American USA is actively recruiting for Adjusters for Field Task Assignments. Field Adjuster deployment will be a Task Model, with adjusters simply using Xactimate/XactAnalysis for claims. Xactimate/XactAnalysis is required. Task Field Adjusters must have an active Florida adjusters license, and should be prepared to quickly deploy to storm sites across the state of Florida.

COMMERCIAL / LARGE LOSS QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) FILE REVIEWER

Allied American USA is seeking an experienced Commercial / Large Loss Quality Assurance(QA) FileReviewer interested in joining our File Review Team!

The Quality Assurance (QA) File Reviewer is essential in verifying that the reports submitted by our property field adjusters align with the rigorous standards of Allied American USA. This role involves a comprehensive examination of the reports and estimates returned by property field adjusters to ensure their accuracy, compliance with carrier and Department of Insurance requirements, and conformity to the guidelines set byAllied American USA. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of insurance claims processes, and the ability to offer helpful feedback to property field adjusters, there by guaranteeing that current and future report and estimate submissions are free of errors, complete, and meet all the requirements set forth by the carrier, state-specific Department of Insurance, and Allied AmericanUSA. Acting as the final checkpoint before claims are finalized and reports are forwarded to insurance carriers, the QA File Reviewer maintains a pivotal role in ensuring that the end product reflects the high service and quality standards of Allied American USA.

The QA File Reviewer we are seeking should have a minimum of the below requirements:

  • Florida Adjuster License with Active Self-Appointment
  • Multi-State Licensing is a plus, especially New York and California
  • Experience with Lloyds of London carriers mandatory
  • 8+ years of Property File Review experience
  • 8+ years Commercial / Large Loss QA File Reviewer experience
  • Prior Property Field Adjusting experience, preferred
  • Profound knowledge of estimating residential and commercial properties using Xactimate, including collaborations
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm ET

Commercial General Liability Litigation Claims Examiner

Allied American USA is currently seeking an experienced Commercial General Liability Litigation Claims Examiner to join our TPA Department.

As a Commercial General Liability Litigation Claims Examiner you will be an expert in handling and supervision of complex and litigated commercial liability claims. Responsible for the investigation of coverage, liability and damages, negotiating with claimants and attorneys, through the life of the claim, maintain a pending and closing ratio of 100%. Candidates should have strong negotiation skills and be proficient in complying with standards, managing expectations, supporting client specific protocols, and fulfilling management directives. 7 years or more, Commercial General Liability Litigation experience is required, and an active FL license is required. An active NY adjusters license is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve advanced, large loss, complex claims promptly, under minimal supervision
  • Responsible for the settlement of CGL litigated cases, involving disputes over coverage, liability, and damages issues
  • Knowledge of litigation, mediations, trial prep and direction of defense counsel
  • Ability to interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage
  • Expert handling of full claim assignments in TPA environment for General Premises Liability programs, including GLPD, GLBI, D&O, contractual liability, including litigation
  • Determine coverage, experience with drafting Reservation of Rights letters and coverage disclaimers and be able to articulate coverage
  • Analyze claims activity and prepare reports for clients/carriers and management.
  • Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses; determine liability and prepare evaluation of bodily injury/property damage claim based on injuries/damages
  • Review claims assigned for indicators of SIU or Underwriting referrals throughout life of claim; escalate as soon as any indicators are identified
  • Maintain complete, pertinent journal notes and action plans for each case throughout life of case
  • Maintain up to date diary for all claims
  • Maintain proper statutory and client driven litigation timelines and protocols
  • Answer phone calls, voicemails and emails within 24 hours

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and 7+ years specialized experience including Liability and Litigation (does not include Auto, Health and WC lines).  10 years or more specialized experience, or industry designations (AIC, CPCU) may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Previous experience with TPA full claim assignments for property damage liability, commercial property/liability, bodily injury (BI), contractual claims, litigation, mediations, and casualty claims, required
  • Experience handling D&O claims, preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial premise liability policy coverages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to conduct, coordinate and direct investigations into loss facts and extent of third-party damages
  • Experience reviewing and quality checking field investigators’ preliminary and final reports
  • Coverage/contract knowledge with adherence to insurance regulations; Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Possess an active home state and FL insurance adjuster license, required; NY license preferred
  • Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills, time management and organizational skills, and customer service skills
  • High level of competency with computer technology: email, Word, Excel, etc.

Pay

  • Typical salary range: $75K-95K per year, based on relevant experience
  • The salary range is for this level and may vary based on actual level of role in which hired
  • This range represents a national range and the actual salary will depend on several factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the skills, education, training, credentials, location, and experience of an applicant, as well as level of role for which the successful candidate is hired. Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.
